Style: 8-12mm long, divided into three branches, each branch between 3 and 5mm long, reddish, slender, smooth. Capsule: Not winged. Flowering time: III-V Habitat: Scrub, corn fields and open woods up to 1000m. Distribution: Turkey - South western and south Anatolia; Cyprus and Lebanon. Cultivation: This a handsome species that requires a hot, sunny, free draining position if grown in the open ground, otherwise it can be easily grown in the bulb frame or alpine house. " |
